1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Streak mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the App following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

2. Description of Service

Streak is a habit tracking application designed to help users build and maintain positive habits through streak counting, reminders, and progress visualization. The App offers both free and premium subscription features.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the App, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and keep this information up to date.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Streak offers premium features through subscription plans. By subscribing:

  • Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
  • You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings

Prices are subject to change. Any price changes will be communicated in advance and will apply to subsequent billing cycles.

5. Free Trial

We may offer a free trial period for premium features. At the end of the free trial:

  • Your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription
  • You will be charged the applicable subscription fee unless you cancel before the trial ends
  • Unused portions of a free trial will be forfeited upon purchasing a subscription

6. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you create within the App (such as habit names, notes, and goals). By using the App, you grant us a license to store and process this content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

You agree not to use the App to create, store, or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, or violates the rights of others.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, code, and content (excluding user content), is owned by Streak and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
  • Use the App for any commercial purpose without our written consent
  • Remove any copyright or proprietary notices

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
  • Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
  • Impersonate others or provide false information
  • Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

Streak is a habit tracking tool and does not provide medical, psychological, or professional advice. Consult appropriate professionals for such guidance.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STREAK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the App will immediately cease
  • We may delete your account and data
  • Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive will remain in effect

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the App shall be resolved in the courts of [Your Jurisdiction].
